Drug Rehab Centers for Troubled Girls
If your teenage girl is using drugs or other harmful substances, let us help you to assess and evaluation your situation, and assist you in finding the perfect solution.
Our clinical team is second to none when it comes to treating substance abuse, as well as adolescent mental health issues – trauma, anxiety, depression, low self esteem among other teen issues.
Re-Creation Retreat Offers:
Two-thirds of teens who abuse substances have a co-occurring mental illness. We are a gender-specific treatment facility for girls who are involved in drug abuse.
Treatment for Self Harm
Once you better understand why you self-harm, we will teach you more healthy ways to cope. We offer support to heal from self harm, cutting, and self injury.
Treatment for Eating Disorders
Adolescent anorexia and bulimia are on the rise in our country. Our team has vast experience in treating teens with eating disorders.
In addition to traditional treatment methods, we provide holistic healing methods – vinyasa and kundalini yoga, art therapy, music therapy and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
The role of family is a vital aspect in every teen’s recovery. We provide the most extensive family counseling program.
Whether you are a parent, grandparent or someone who cares about a young woman’s future, it is important that you are aware about how to prevent teen drug abuse.
It is hard for us to imagine that a child we love could end up abusing drugs. But chances are, most girls will be faced with the choice of whether to participate in the use of drugs or alcohol at one time or another. As someone who loves their child or grandchild, we must teach our girls to know that there are consequences to their decisions.
Why are Drug Rehabs Needed for Teens?
1). Forty percent of U.S. teens say they expect to use a drug in the future.
2). One out of every five kids in eighth grade has already tried marijuana.
3). Use of substances such as marijuana and inhalants can result in social consequences (e.g., failing in school) and physical consequences such as reduced stamina and fitness or damage to the lungs and brain.
4). Teens who smoke cigarettes are more likely to drink alcohol.
5). Teens who smoke and drink are more likely to use marijuana.
6). And those who use all three are more likely to use other illicit drugs. Long-term studies show that use of other illicit drugs among youth almost never occurs unless they have first used marijuana.
If you suspect your teen has been using drugs or drinking alcohol, it’s important to act quickly: the longer your teen abuses substances, the more likely they are to become addicted. If you do find the problem is beyond your expertise, we are a drug treatment program that specializes in the special needs of troubled girls.
